After it was decided to play one more level after the dinner break, the tournament staff decided to suspend play with just over 38 minutes remaining in level 19. Two possibilities: Since play started an hour later on Friday, ending it at the same time as the other Main Event days would seem right. Also, there was 21 full tables of 9 players when play was suspended. so that there wasn’t a disadvantage to the other tables.
The leader at the end of day 4 is Jeremy Joseph with over 2.18m in chips, Nikolay Losev is 2nd with 2.11m in chips. 46 players start play today with over 1m in chips, among those players include Brandon Cantu, Shawn Sheikhan, Alex Outhred, Mark Vos, David Benefield, and Gus Hansen and Allen Cunningham. Phil Hellmuth is the final remaining Main Event winner with 581,000 in chips.

More updates during the day…
The Canadian poker contingent was ready. Staring at a heads-up matchup between their Jason Bigelow and Dana Castaneda, they were ready to celebrate a record-extending 11th bracelet this Series, but in Event 54, they would leave the Rio settling for second-place as Castaneda, a 31-year-old waitress and municipal worker from Bullhead City, Arizona, played a fantastic final table to win her first bracelet and become the first female open-event champion of the 2013 World Series of Poker. She earned $454,207 for her victory over the field of 2,883, not a bad return on a $1,000 buy-in.
'It's amazing,' she said. 'I can't believe I won this. It's for my grandmother.'
Her grandmother had passed away only days before her victory and during her last visit, Castaneda told her grandmother that she was going to Vegas to win at the WSOP.
'My grandmother was 94-years-old,' she said. 'She came to visit me in California one time We went to the casino and bought into a $2/$4 game together. I sat her down. She hit a straight flush. She didn't know what was going on. It was great. She won the high hand of the hour and got a jacket. So, that was our thing. Poker was our thing.'
Castaneda entered the final table as the short stack but managed an incredible run that allowed her to run over her competition in only 115 hands. She won the key races, had the best hands hold and used timely aggression to wear down the field. She entered heads-up play against Bigelow with a 5:1 chip lead and never let him really gain much ground. On the final hand, Bigelow moved all-in postflop with a flush draw and failed to hit. He earned $281,991 for second place, his best career finish and pay day at the WSOP.
This was Castaneda's second cash of the 2013 WSOP and a win she, nor the poker world, will ever forget.

'It's truly amazing,' Castaneda said. 'I love [my grandmother]. I just wish she could have been here to see it. This win is 100 percent for her.'
Other notable finishers include Jacob Bazeley (seventh), Gabriel Nassif (23rd) and Matt Salsberg (31st).
